Visions and Values

At Marston Green Junior School we value all members of our school community, encourage and inspire an

attitude to fulfil high aspirations for all. We are committed to providing a caring, secure and vibrant learning

environment, which develops their sense of responsibility as tolerant citizens of the wider world.

Within our school community it is our aim in partnership with parents, the governors and staff, to help our pupils:

  • acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to the changing world in which they live
  • have self-confidence and high esteem, respecting and valuing themselves, other people and the environment
  • develop enquiring minds with motivation to learn
  • prepare for adult life and life-long learning
  • work independently and with other pupils to develop communication and social skills
  • take responsibility for their own actions and make informed choices
  • recognise themselves as citizens of the wider world and prepare them for life in 21st Century Britain

To achieve these aims for our pupils we are committed to provide the following:
