MGJS Safeguarding Approach

At Marston Green Junior School, safeguarding is an essential part of our school ethos and we are fully committed to promoting the welfare of all children and making our school community safe and secure.  

As a school, we work closely with families, external agencies (eg: the school nurse, Education Welfare Officer, police) and Solihull Local Authority to ensure that we are able to effectively support pupils in school. We follow statutory guidance including Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children alongside our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy across the school.  All staff receive regular safeguarding training so that they are able to identify concerns and respond appropriately to promote the well-being of our pupils.
