At Marston Green Junior School, our Design & Technology curriculum helps pupils develop practical skills through designing, making and evaluating purposeful products. We encourage creativity, problem solving and resilience as pupils work with a range of materials, including cooking & nutrition, structures, mechanisms, textiles and electrical systems. Pupils learn to investigate existing products, generate ideas and test and improve their designs. Through hands on experiences, they develop an understanding of how design and technology impact everyday life and the wider world.
